Service Description

Ancient civilizations made mental multiplication widespread to adapt to the growing trade industry. Today, we use mental multiplication to quickly calculate in almost every industry such as business, food, and sports. Along with using multiplication in daily life, students need it for foundational math knowledge. Multiplication is at the heart of division, fractions, Algebra, and even higher mathematics like Calculus. When students miss this foundation, they can struggle with more complex math. As students work to solve a math problem, it is important for them to know multiplication by memory. If they do not, they will stop to skip count, use a multiplication chart, or a calculator. The time taken to stop and do this can confuse them on the actual math problem. By knowing multiplication, your student can quickly answer that part of the question with confidence. I Know My Times Tables, is a three-part class designed to help students memorize their times tables. This is especially helpful for students have that have a gap in multiplication knowledge due to the 2020 virtual school year. Sign up now for our fun and interactive class that will be useful for students in grades 3-6!
