Service Description

Fractions are used everyday! We use them to tell time, cook, sew, shop and even in sports. However, so many people have a fear of fractions. Math concepts such as fractions that students do not master in the early grades can go on to confuse them later on and to cause them a great deal of math anxiety. In this four part course we will explore fractions in a procedural and conceptual way. This is especially helpful for students that have a gap in multiplication knowledge due to the 2020 virtual school year. Cancellation Policy

A consistent weekly attendance is strongly recommended to increase your child’s progress. You may cancel your child’s prepaid session up to 24 hours before the scheduled session with no penalty. With the exception of illnesses and emergencies, sessions that are cancelled within 24 hours will be charged as a full session. Please call or text to cancel a session. In the event that your child is running late for their in person or virtual session, please call or text. There will be a 15 minutes grace period . In the event that the scholar shows up or logs in to the zoom meeting after the 15 minutes grace period without any notification , the tutor will not see the child and the parent will be charged as a full session. No adjustments to fees or hours will be made due to a late arrival by the student.
